the florescent fixtures in a body shop are outside the booth with a piece of glass to isolate them between the booth & fixture. or there are explosion proof florescent fixtures. all switches and receptacles should be outside the booth. as a licensed electrician I should not say this, but in the 80s we had a 14x24 shop for a paint Booth with florescent lights recessed into the wall and not isolated with a sealed piece of glass. I was younger and braver then. they make about everything in explosion proof.
