I am having a problem with my radio. When I turn on the dash lights with the headlight switch, the volume of the radio goes lower. When I turn off the dash light, the volume of the radio goes back to louder. I really don't understand how it or why it is doing this.I have a 1977 Chevy nova.Could any of ya'll help me in my problem? |

Doc here,
It may be bad Grounding..Ground the radio to a Good Body ground. Try turning The panel dimer up and down the full sweep with the radio on, If it goes off then on then louder..you have the radio power connected to a Panel Dim line..remove it and move it to a Switched Fused line. Doc
