Additionally, how does not having a parking/emergency brake not bother you. Stopping my rig, especially when towing is always more important to me than going faster...just my .02

Cables cost about $20 each for a K1500, unless the lever is stripped or removed, it could be re serviced for less than the line lock, and they would be performing the same function....

My dad and I have launched his boats down some crappy ramps , never used wheel chocks, and only the parking brake on the steeper 1's.. get your feet wet. that's part of the game.. We never power load ither, actually prohibited where we launch, but it's not even nessasary, even with a 23' 'glass cabin cruiser
