Line Lock Will Not Hold

We are working on a '73 Duster put together primarily for drag racing. The line lock is set up directly off the m/c without a distribution block. The lock "clicks" when activated, holds slightly for a second or so, but will not hold hard. Any suggestions? thanks!

Did you pump the brakes up tight before activating the line lock?

I would call/email the manufacturer of the line lock and see if they can shed some light on the problem.

Are the front tires rolling or sliding? I ask because most cars will slide the fronts at some point providing there's traction for the rears.

If the tires are rolling, either the lock isn't holding pressure- or the master isn't supplying enough pressure to the calipers in the first place, or the front brakes are inadequate for some other reason- worn pads, glazed rotors, oil or grease contamination, etc.
