Linear Actuator Trunk Lift Kit

Do anyone know where I can get the aluminum arms for the linear actuator trunk lift . My trunk jammed and stripped the splines out of the aluminum arm. I called Carolina Custom ,they said they arms would not work because the shaft diameter was 3/4" where mind is 5/8". I was told my unit is one of the early models. I'm just trying to keep for buying a complete unit ,all the other pieces are fine.

Any help is appreciated

Trunk Lift Kit

I worked out my problem with the trunk lift kit arms. I was able to find a 5/8" spline shaft and collar for about $26 at Dune Buggy Parts, Sand Rail and Volkswagen Parts | appletreeauto.com. Also I brought a piece of 1/2" x 3/4" steel bar at Metal Depot: New, Useable, Surplus Metals and Industrial Supplies for $13. Everything works just fine now. For those of you that are in the same situation as I here are some pictures .
