A link to my artwork

After skulking around this forum, I felt inspired to share some of my artwork. The following link has some car-related stuff in it, but not much. Just follow the right-hand arrow at the bottom of the screen.
http://*
Although this appears to be a "business" website, it's not. It's just self flattery, really. Or hoping some rock star sees it and wants to pay me big bucks to design his next CD cover.
Anyway, ALL of the images and backgrounds were made by myself, using a wide variety of techniques. Some of the drawings were made with pen & ink, or colored pencil. A lot of the images were made on my computer, using Corel, Photoshop, Bryce and the like. I have quite a bit more car-related stuff; I should get around to putting more of it on the website.
Oh yeah, I drew the cartoon truck in my avatar also, using colored pencil.
Hopefully one of these days I'll get back to drawing again. Right now I seem to be too busy working and building my truck.

Wow!!! Very nice work. Even though I am a car guy my favorites were the Canada Goose (I wonder why?), Rhino cu and the eagle head. Hoosier-daddi Technologies was a good one as well. Love your car pics and the futuristic stuff is neat. You have talent and you should keep at it. Good luck with your art in the future.

Awesome work!! As a fellow artist, I am very impressed with your work. Keep it up, who knows, maybe an artist will come across your work and want you to do their cover for them

re: A link to my artwork

Thanks for all the compliments! You got me digging out all my other car-related stuff; I'm going to post them soon.
Someone asked if they're computer generated. Most are, some aren't. The ones that look like pen & ink or colored pencil are just that. Most of the other stuff is made on the computer. Some of them are "cheats", in a way. For instance, the picture that Kevin45 picked out, is a highly altered photograph. And no, that wasn't on the Renderosity website, at least that I know of.
The train picture, and the futuristic-looking stuff, were created with Bryce, a 3D "ray tracing" program. It's unbelievable. In simple terms, you create 3D ojects and place them in a 3D "space", define the textures and colors of everything, and then define the light source. Then the program actually traces the path of the light from the light source, how it will bounce off of objects, etc, and draws the scene. It sounds like cheating, but you'd be surprised how much work was involved in creating a scene. It's a lot of fun, though.
Anyway, I'm gathering my car pictures together, and will be posting them soon.

That is some cool stuff there.
the one that kevin45 picked out reminds me of the back cover art from the grateful dead's "anthem of the sun".

Maybe thats where you saw it , kevin....have another brownie

The one with the train reminded me of the end of silver streak.

I really liked the pic of einstein with the black oil thing going on.
The truth is out there.

later. Mikey

Nice work. However, the site does technically qualify as a business site, as you are offering artistic services.
