Talking linkages are a pain any ideas?

I have mopar 904 trany and I am missing some of the shifter rods. I was wondering if there is any way to use a cable system (like a loclar push pull cable)instead of these damn rods? Has anyone out there done this before?

i haven't done that myself, but you should try www.moparts.com and somebody there should have an answer.

The rods should be kept original. You should be able to find a similar engine trans set up in a salvage yard.Get the proper stuff & make sure they are adjusted properly or you will burn the tranny out.bob
