Flynbrian48 here, and this is what's in our garage:
'48 Pontiac convert, LT1/4L60E, 94 Cad Fleetwood front frame stub. Cool stuff like ABS brakes, level-ride, heated seats, etc., all courtesy of the whacked Caddy I used as a donor. We've had the car since '74, it's had 4 different engines and I've learned how (NOT!) to do lots of stuff on this old car. '51 Pontiac "Tin Woody" wagon, LS1/4L60E, '92 Caprice front frame stub. This car I built specifically to tow our Spartan travel trailer. More fun than I ever thought I could have in a car with a top. People love it, and we do too. It's the nicest car I've built so far. '59 T'Bird Roadster, HO 5.0/AOD. This car is currently apart for paint and I'm going to (severly) chop the windshield. Has a hand hammered steel tonneau with twin headrest tunnels, it's a former coupe with the top removed. It has a removable convertable top (from a '64 'Bird) and the original steel top that'll never go back on once it's chopped. I'm planning on painting it a soft silver over a dark electric candy blue with an orange/red stripe to break the colors. '36 Ford roadster, currently under construction. It's a much cut up Tudor Humpback sedan, shortened, sectioned, channeled, top removed, MG Midget W/S narrowed and posts laid back, top bows from '02 Sebring. It's seen in my journal here. I call it a "Fordillac", as it's motivated by a 472 Cad/Turbo 400. Posi rear from '92 Caprice wagon, front suspension is '35 Dodge or Plymouth axle/springs. Very cool, and very different from anything we've ever had. It started out as a "rat rod" project that has progressed and will be finished and upholstered in a late 40's/early 50's style. '48 Spartan Manor 25 foot trailer. Coolest RV ever built, very Art Deco design, it's art on wheels. We've travelled all over the country with it behind the '48 convert and '51 wagon. It's also for sale as we have... '46 Spartan Manor 25 foot trailer. Currently under construction, I have to do the finish sanding on the (all new) interior, varnish, upholstery and finish plumbing. It has all the things we thought we should have done with the '48. It's going to be a knockout, and the last camper we'll need. Notice I said need, not have. '54 Chris Craft 17 foot "Sportsman" Deluxe Runabout. Small block Chev powered, Mahogany boat. We've all learned to ski, slalom and wake board behind this brute. It's a wonderful boat and great family fun for the past 17 years. '61 Harley Panhead, a "bagger". Nice bike, we've been all over the country on it, only had to walk twice! I traded a beautiful chopped, sectioned, shortened 56 Caddy convertable for it. What was I thinking? '00 Chev Silverado, my daily driver. A total I resurrected. '02 Pt Cruiser, my wifes driver. I thought we'd be better off buying a '37 Ply. or Ford sedan street rod for her, but she wanted a new car to drive. Probably less work for me. I'd like to build an old Diamond T pickup as a trailer puller with a Duramax or other new diesel and automatic, and an early Falcon, gasser style, with a small block, Radir wheels and slicks and straight axle would be fun. A buddy has a pretty nice '62 Impala 2 dr post that I think is too nice to part out, which is what he bought it for, and...you get the idea. So many good ideas, so little time!
