Lizard Skin........anyone used it yet ?

Lizard Skin is a new heat barrier and sound deadener........or at least it is advertised that way. I saw it at the Nationals in KY but did not talk to them...... but should have....

Has anyone here actually used it ?
I need something for my under construction 32 3Window coupe. It will have A/C, some sound system stuff and I want it well insulated for the heat and A/C ......and quiet .......

Thanks ...

Deuce ....

I havn't used it yet but about ready to try it,, I have talked to alot of people that have used it and they all say it's a good product,, I plan on spraying it on the bottom side of a 36 chev, then painting it with polyurethane, also on the interior , should be whisper quiet, Huh? we'll see Bill

We have used it on all of the cars we do. We have not done a back to back test to see if it is a benifit for sound. I know it does do well for heat.
It sprays on nice. You can also brush or roll it on but we have not done that.

I think it's on my "to do " list also....on the 32 coupe.
I believe I am going to paint the floor ( from the underside ) with 2 coats...as a sealer then a single stage black paint for gloss....then 2 coats on the floor interior side and a few coats on the inside of the firewall......

But it is expensive.......
