Lizard Skin or similar products?
I searched and read where folks seem to be happy with this product (lizard skin). I was asking about it on another board and someone suggested using an elastomeric paint with cramic beads added such as paint for mobile home roofs. Has anyone ever used this in a car? It seems worth a try because I know it holds up fairly well on roofs and does cut down on heat and sound. I was thinking maybe use lizard skin on the firwall and underside and the other on the interior. Anybody got any thoughts on this?

I used a product called "Gator Guard" that is available from Eastwood for coating the underside of my fenders. It is sold as a spray-in bed liner for pick-up trucks. It can also be applied with a brush which is what I did with my fenders. The material is very easy to work with and seems to be extremely durable. You can find it here

Lizard Skin or similar products?
Lizard Skin makes two products. One is a sound deadener and the other is ceramic insulation. That may be what they were talking about. All the reviews that I have read are positive.
