Yes! Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures! And I am 125% in agreement with you on the trophies and judging! I think it ruins the comradery and social aspect of cars.

I just got home from Back To the 50's in MN.

There were over 12,000 rods present. The largest streetrod event ever.

I arrived at 6:15 Am and left at 9:pm. It rained a little early in the mornining so there was some clean up time.

I sat with friends yesterday for over 8 hours talking to people and watching the endless parade of streetrods. I only made 2 laps of the fairgrounds yesterday. It took over an hour per lap. I hardly stepped on the gas at all. I used almost 3/4 tank of gas. haha

Lots of vendors to visit.

I also attended Friday and spent most of the day visiting vendors and a few out of town friends. Cell phones are great for findeing each other.

Thursday night I attended a gathering of the Willys flock. There were 13 Willys driven to the event and about 25 owners. A couple had trouble at home so they had to leave their cars at home. All the cars were driven to the event. Long distance was from Indiana.

DANG. I forgot to look for you ... I think I saw your car and it didn't dawn on me that it was yours...
I started a new thread with 158 pics.

Chattanooga Church cruise

Barb and I went to a local cruise at the Chattanooga Church tonight. They gave awards which had the entry's car picture on them. Pretty neat. There was no charge for the show. Even the food was free. There was a nice breeze, about a hundred cars, and an all around good night.

Thanks Chattanooga Church.

John
