I didn't have a car there but I went to a "local" cruise and met a bunch of new friends. What a great bunch of guys and my son and I learned a TON about these cool little cars.

Brian

We then went off to Santa Cruz for a game of bowling at the Boardwalk bowl and some treats and a walk out on the beach, it was a GREAT day!

Cruise season is quickly winding down here. I went to the last No. St. Paul cruise Friday night. Very dissappointing end to that show with temps in the low 60's, drizzle/rain and a cold wind...

Hastings had a beautiful night last night but I couldn't attend due to family obligations. They have one more on Oct. 5th and both the Camaro and Chevelle clubs have fall cruises planned for that day and ending in Hastings for the farewell show.

I can't believe Summer is over already. Winter SUCKS...

Very cool indeed. I can tell it was a great day. Even if the streets are wet.

Brian;

We did a gearbox for a LS 5.3 powered Brunton Super Stalker. Holy crap! I have an open invite to go ride along at Limerock or Watkins Glen....I think I'll need an adult diaper and a USAF G-suit.

My uncle and dad are tossing around Track T; LoCost 7 or finding a half finished FF Cobra. Either way I can see my Dad and his B-I-L crammed in one of those little cars like a couple of circus bears with REALLY big grins on their faces

What a night to be out in a convertible. High of 78 today. Just perfect.

We had 6 Cobras tonight. 4 39-40 Fords and several 33-34 Fords. Lots of neat stuff to look at and an even a better day to be driving to and from the cruise with the top down and my bride of 45 years with me.

John

Different cars. Both cool.

I don't think that will happen. LOL. Even if her little feet would touch the ground.

Another beautiful Saturday here in Md.
I'm not sure if I ever saw a Ranchero before with the seats in the back.
I didn't see the owner to ask, was this an option back then? or is this an after market install.
Gotta say it was a clean, well done rebuild.

That is too cool but since the ranchero did not come out until 1957 I believe this has to be a creation. I would suspect it started life as a station wagon but you are right. It is very nicely done.

Went to the Midland Antique Festival, swap meet and car show on the 22 and took a few pics and made some really good finds at the swap area .

It was cold windy and raining off and on but the sun peaked through the clouds every once and a while to cheer my wife and I up !
