Jester I'm up north of the T.C. The show is in St. Paul at the state fair grounds. I go down on Thursday to get checked in before the rush.

If you go on line and GO to the M.R.S.A. web site. you can Reg. If you do it early you will save yourself some bucks. If your son lives in the T.C. you will have a place to stay.

The place is crazy people spend all night in there cars to get in Friday and Sat. morning, Sunday morning there is a big swap meet, the show has over 300 vendors, a ladies showcase for the ladies. They show them everything from how do do their hair to how to cut their toe nails. LOL No they have a fashion show to what ever.

There is a raising of the flag on Sat. morning by Vets. Then a flyover by world war two planes, which are low, and they pass over 3-4 times, I think it is pretty neat myself and I think many others do to.

They also have a big craft fair, and food stands all over both walk up or sit down. It is more than a show it is a happening.

Many people come year after year, from many states and our friends in Canada. And I know we have a couple coming from N.Z. this year.

If your son doesn't live in the T.C. you will have to hurry to get signed up for a camping space on grounds. There are two camp grounds on site, North and South and I know the North is full.

If it sounds like I'm pushing the show I am. I was head guy for 4 years and help run it for a total of 11 years. I started getting the vendors there when we opened the show up to everyone. But I think most members of M.R.S.A. are just like me when it comes to the 50's, they can't wait for the show to start.

Think about it, if you come I don't think you will be sorry, and I'm pretty sure you will tell others about it.

I did say we give prizes on Sunday, about $30,000 worth or more not sure.
I would like to get a bunch off here to come and we could have a get together on the grounds Sat. afternoon.

Bob

The wife and I are talking about it if at all possible, she will take her vacation time then and we will try to make it! But as you know at our ages we seem to attract bad situations pertaining to health and old bone issues that plaque our work worn bods LOL Ive been under the weather all winter!!!! We are suposed to go to Alabama, Tennessee, and Calgary This summer to visit our Kids LOL Its hard on us to do all that traveling, and really bites into our budget LOL I also keep my hand in restoration and building cars for Customers even though I'm retired I missed the big Woodward cruise, the U.S.27 Cruise, and many more Because of deadlines!!!! pluss trying to finish my wifes 79 Camaro! My progess on her car has been slow LOL SHE KEEPS REMINDING ME OF THATLOL!! Thats why I bought her the 82 TRANS AM LOL and now she wants me to do custom work on that LOL

Why do you need blood work? My whole family has a hereditary blood disease "Von Willebrand " and are in for "blood infusions" all the time and are on medication to help our blood clot Its a pain in the A S S

My kidney went south on me, so I have to go to dialysis 3 times a week for 3 1/2 hours. Being my kidney still work some what I can skip some days once in awhile as long as I take it easy on the fluid intake.

If I have to I can go down in the T.C. if I let them know ahead of time.
I know what old age does to you for sure.LOL The last year has been pretty good, but for 2 years before that I was in and out of the hospital or care center. I can't walk very good so I use a cart to get around.

I just got a new camera so I can carry all my stuff in the cart, now I have to learn how to run the camera. The book for the flash unit is as big as the one for the camera. I think I might be in deep doo doo. LMAO.

LOL I was terminal with cancer in '79 LOL 3 yrs of radiation Chemo and surgery I BEAT IT, About 12 years after it hit me again and had treatments and beat it again Then I was in an industrial fire and put in a burn hospital for 3 months (St. Marys) and couldnt work for a year and a half then got hurt working on a 40 ton clutch press table the jacks gave and it caught my arms I had 7 reconstruction surgerys on my 2 shoulders with new stainless parts and Teflon added (I insisted on MADE IN U.S.A parts) LOL then while healing I fell on ice and crushed 3 vertebra in my back and my discs ruptured (With my shoulders healing at the time I couldn't use my arms to catch my balance) I had to sell my 38 Plymouth (to pay bills) LOL The devil Must have a claim on me I've beat the B A S T A R D over and over and he keeps making plans against me LOL So I'm used to pain and drugs and A S S E N I N E doctors that want to cut ya Veterans Hospital helped me a lot no bar and screws in my back!!!

I'm in good shape though after all that but I cant pick up more then 10 LBs ( the limit they put on me) But I still break that rule and go in a few times a year for tune ups on my robotic hardware that pulled loose and cancer check ups But I don't want to go in So I put it off) some times for long periods (over 2 year since I last went in) But the pain when I come out is bad and the drugs make me feel worse then dead !! So I put it off as long as I can LOL Don't you do that!!!

Getting old sucks LOL All of us probably have similar storys when our age
LOL I guess I'm pretty lucky

Car shows and cruises and working on hot rods and being on Hotrodders makes me think young and gives me joy!!!!!!
