Location for Vega plate / unisteer - 32 ford

I now have my unisteer unit and a weld on "Vega" plate for my 32 Ford 2dr sedan w/cross steer. What I am missing is any template/measurements on where to put the "weld on" plate. Contacted the dealer - said something about so many inches from the spring but wasn't sure on exact measurement. He said he would check with his frame manufacturer. Is there any measurement or better yet a template?

These are mine ...
I do not remember exactly the measurement from the cross member but I will measure mine later today ... if that helps.

I went to the shop today and measured the distance on mine ...
If you measure between the center of the radiator mounting hole in the front cross member and the center of the top mounting bolt ( of the three that holds the bracket to the welded bracket ) I measured 10 inches ... exactly.

Thanks again Duece. When I get this on the road will have to dedicate the first ride to you.

In your pics it looks like the leading edge of the bracket is vertical in relation to the frame. It also looks like your drag link is parallel to the axle.

Guess I will wait for the rest of the front end parts to come in and mock up before tacking the vega plate.

My 4 bar bolts do not have the nuts on them ...
I want to align the front end and I do not want to use the Ny-Loks but once ... so I will put the nuts on ... after the 32 has a 4 wheel alignment.

Deuce, i noticed you have what i think is the mount for a front panhard bar. what do you use for a mounting location on your axle? Also.. for the tie rod ends , and rack ends(draglink).. is there an aftermarket end you can use other than say ones from a streetrod supplier? What i mean is , suppliers up here are a little hard to come by, so i was wondering if the ends are something you could order from say a NAPA store? or am i better off just ordering the whole set up from a rod supplier?
