Hi thanks for letting me into you site, hope to get lots of info from all you guys that know all the answers to my question, hope to make somefriends to. I want to know all I can about getting a title for my 1955 2 door Chevy, I stopped working on it since I found out It don't have a VIN plate, or a title, I have put a lot of work into it & still have lots to do, so I first want to know if I'll be able to get a title & hope it's not too expensive!! Thanks again & hope to get tons of feedback!!:D

Titles are different for various states There is quite a bit of info here on Hotrodders in the WIKI at the top of the page/ search "how to title a hot rod", If you have a bill of sale some states will assign you a new vin sticker. other states will want you to crush it for scrap.
