Is A Long Arm Machine Necessary?

I started to sew my driver seat back for my Cadillac. Sewing parts of it were kind of difficult because their wasn't enough room under the arm at times. So are there times when a long arm machine is needed for certain car seats?

I have yet to find a car seat that I couldn't sew with a regular machine. There are a lot of other places where a long arm sewing machine would be good, like door panels and doing hard headliners, but sewing seats should not be a problem with a regular sewing machine. It may take some ingenuity to do it, but it still should be possible.

No one lives forever, the trick is creating something that will.
