a look inside the motor

This video is chopped up. I was hoping it would show the piston chasing the exhaust valve back onto its seat during the overlap period, but no.

Wow, some scary looking videos!!! Kinda makes me want to keep my foot OUT of the gas! It's a wonder that engines stay together given all that is going on inside.

thanks very interesting to see that in action, Never realized all the shake, rattle and roll going on in the valve train, highlights the importance of the spring tension being right.

Cool videos
If you really want to see some movement, put a moderately stiff spring on a motor with stock rockers and stock rocker studs....those studs wave like flagpoles in a hurricane.

(you don't need a high speed camera, just hold a hammer handle on the top of the stud while the motor is running...you can feel the hammer move in your hand.)

Stud girdles are no gimmick.

Later, mikey
