Very simple, go Vortec or Procharger, (Centri blowers). Is your shortblock forged for blower application? If not, don't go over 5lbs boost, you need it to be intercooled as well.

^^^ Agreed. I don't suggest forced induction on a stock engine. Forged internals is a must in my book. Also, since it's high output, i would assume the compression is higher, which means little or no boost is allowed as it will force the cylinder pressures too high. If the engine is built for forced induction then, like stated above, vortech and procharger make what you need.

Mad Max and Big Dog are right. Why not go nitrous for saftey. a 100 or 125 shot should be a thrill without the agony of engine scattering explosions
Look into Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind

Intercooling is nice if you are going extreme on boost, but expensive and not necessary for us everyday guys.

Along that line, a water/methanol injection system is much cheaper, easy to install and very effective against detonation.

I changed your thread title slightly to better explain what you're looking for.
