Looking for a Cadillac interior for my 1953 Ford

While at a KKOA gathering in Ohio two years ago I talked to a fellow customizer with a 50 Merc. He told me...his complete interior was from a early Cadillac Eldorado. I was wondering whether anyone else has had a similar experience and know what years fit. I would like some relief from the high cost of customizing my car. Thanks!

It was a common practice " back in the day " to find another seat and upholstery to fit your car. I believe that some of the 63 to 65 Thunderbirds gave up their interior for a few Mercurys too....

The down side is........ALL these vehicles are 40 plus years old........and the interior shows it. PLUS......not many folks are parting a decent car like that with a DECENT interior.

interior for my 53 ford

Thanks Deuce for your advice!
I am aware that T-Birds were used in the past and the chance of getting that interior is remote. But a interior out of a caddy might be easier to come by! I am also thinking of cutting down my 53 seats to fit the lowered height. I plan on making a decision in the Spring.
Thanks again

I know what KKOA stands for but does anyone know where the name KEMP came from and what it means?
