looking for Chevy ute fans

Can someone give me the history of general motors in australia? around 1932-1953 they made a chevy ute. I have been unable to find a lot of information about this.

I am building an american version of 1951 chevy ute. Until I started my project I did not of australia's involvement in Chevrolet .

Any help appreciated some photos or links.

The Aussies made Utes in all makes and models - Ford, Dodge, Willys, Chevy, all of 'em. My favorites of course are the '33 - '42 Willys Utes. They even made '33 Willy convertibles!!
