Looking for a good tire 1940 Ford Deluxe

Hello everyone,

I have a 1940 Ford Deluxe. I would like to put a bigger tire and wheel in the back and a smaller wheel and tire in front. Currently I have a tire size of P215/60R14's all the way around the car. I would also like to put a chrome wheel with a half moon hub cap on it.

I went to the local Firestone and they told me the wheel that may do the trick would be a P235/60R15 in the back of the car while keeping the same size (P215/60R14) in the front. The wheel that I wanted wouldn't be off set by much, but it would be a start.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Juan

Not sure if you're asking me about the tire size of 235/60/15 and 225/70/15 or suggesting it ?

But thanks

I am sugguesting it. The question mark is to see if thats what you had in mind. The tires are close to the same height with a noticable difference in width.

If you go to a quality shop they will trail fit a few sizes on your car and let you get a good look at it. Roll it outside and sand back and get a good look at it. Just a little different can back a heck of a difference good or bad.
