looking for grill ideas for a '51 Chevy Deluxe...

I have a '51 Chevy deluxe fastback, chopped 3-1/2", going for the lead sled look. I'm trying to get ideas for how I want to make the grill, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I kinda like that grill ,maybe save the outer chrome and fill the center with a more modern billit type, french the lights and shave the bumper and go with a rollpan ????? Or one of those skinny 70-71 camero bumpers molded to fit????

It's been done to death, but the early Corvette "toothy" grille still gets my favor.

Nice Old Chevy

IMHO, Leave the stock grill and bumper as is, just have a good re-chrome job done on them. I really like the 49-54's as is. olnolan

X2 . You can't much more of a classic lead sled look than that original front end.

I would just swap in a '52 center bar with the grille teeth... '51/'52's stand out the most out of all the '49-'52's. take too much away from them and they no longer stand out/ not recognizable.

Thanks for the quick responses, I am frenching four '59 caddy bullet tail lights in the back and was leaning towards having some kind of chrome bullets in the front. A bullet grill was the only way I could think to incorporate them and still keep a clean look.
