Looking for a new paint gun

I'm thinking of buying a new paint gun. I'm not a pro and I don't paint often. I'm a car guy and I do have the occasional car to paint but more often just a hood, door or rocker. Any recommendations? I'm looking at something on the cheaper side. I don't like suction guns so I'm looking at gravitys. I've never owned a HVLP gun but I'm open to try it. Currently I'm looking at the ATDs and Devilbiss FinishLines. I spray acrylic enamel only.

Either of those guns should be fine for what you want to paint.

I tested the Finishline 3 and Sharpe Finex 3000, for about a similar price range.;

reasons; -Finex 3000 requires less air
-Finex 3000 was a lot lighter the Finishline although looks like a better made gun its is quite heavy and bulky.
- and lastly I seem to get a better spray pattern atomization with the Finex.

Whave Ive shot with it; Various metallic colors, HighSolid clear coats, one Acrylic Enamel small job

X2-I like the Astro EVO 4014 a lot, but you won't mistake it for an Iwata or Sata....

I ended up buying the Finex 3000. I'm very happy with it. It's light-weight and easy to use. Most of all I'm happy that it did a great job of atomizing the paint. Iím very pleased with the paint job I got from it.

For a budget gun you can't beat Finex.
