looking for opinions

just wanted to let you guys know what i was putting together, and what you think. it's a 565 ci big block chevy, 4.600 bore, 4.25 stroke. using a gen IV bowtie block, callies dragonslayer crank, howards billet rods 6.385", custom venolia pistons (14.5:1 comp), comp belt drive, custom ground erson roller, 284 int dur @ .050", 298 exh dur @ .050", 112 lobe separation, .849 int lift, .831 exh lift, dart 18 degree big chiefs, 2.40" intake, 1.90" exhaust, intake ports matched, bowls blended, guide contoured, exhaust ports bowl blended, guides shaped, port matched and polished, profiler long runner tunnel ram intake with dual carb top, twin methanol predator carbs, jesel rockers, manton pushrods, dynatech stepped race headers, 2 1/4 - 2 3/8", with 4.5" merged collector. any thoughts out there?

Sounds pretty good to me, I dont know a whole lot about big chief stuff, but it seems like it should work well to me. What are you planning on rapping it to?, I think it would probably make power to 8000 min. Also, do you know if that is the most compression that you can run? I would run as much as possible with that setup, and I think you can run 15:1-16:1 on alcohol.

That's close to what I intend to build, after I win the lottery. The only thing I would change is the headers. 2 1/2" primary tubes with those collectors might fatten and flatten the torque curve a bit. Not that it really needs it.
