One way to get this car into the 10's using the present gear ratio and engine would be to supercharge the motor you have and run it on methanol.
10's @130-132MPH 4.87:1 32" tires
Approx 675-700 horsepower required.

8-71 roots blower two 750's on methanol
Procharger blow thru centrifugal supercharger 850-1000cfm blow thru methanol carb.

You would want a different roller camshaft that is more blower friendly.
Basicly needs a wider cam LSA. 110-112-114 LSA to make good power with the blower.

Supercharger and Methanol fuel is very very effective.

The 5.38:1 ratio will get you close.
Adding a slightly shorter rear tire and 5.38 gears is one way to get it dialed in.

A head swap can make some more power but still needs a lot more gear and rpm.

The 4.87's are not even close for this combo.

With a supercharger you own the power. With nitrous you are just renting it, and always paying for it.

You seem to want to do every thing except the obvious.
You must have lots of money.

Na not much money in my setup... Sounds like I gotta swap the gear didn't want to change it cause I just put it in there.... I was just hoping for another answer.. always looking for advice and new ideas. I don't like power adders much at all but if I did it would probly be nitrous. I think I have 6,000 in my complete setup turnkey from motor to axle wheels tires everything. I'm very low budget I do what I can with what I have. Hint, I run cheap stock replacement sportsman2 heads its all about work not $$.
