does anyone out there know of any simple to install easy emissions control systems? . hopefully aftermarket and cheap. spacificaly i am talking about small block chevy 350 motors, Both carb and fuel injected. I am moving to the beautiful sunny smogged state of cali. Apperantly they are not as enthusiastic about my gas guzzling rubber burning toys as I am but I dont want to sell them. I built them myself. Any thaughts Welcome...

What year is your car(s)?
If you want to bring a car newer than a 1975 model into Ca it needs to have the smog equipment that was originally installed on the car from the factory, if you put a newer motor in the car, it probably needs to have all the stuff for that year motor, unless it's appearance doesn't give away the fact that it is newer...(don't count on the referree being dumb, either)
If the car is older than 1975, it is probably exempt.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as an aftermarket emission control system. I do know that there are companies that make a killing on selling used smog parts for guys who ditched theirs. I paid 175.00 for a used egr valve for my motorhome one time that I couldn't find anywhere else.

It's illegal to keep them registered out of state, for the purpose of skating around smog laws.
