Loose Brake Pads on Mustang II conversion
I purchased an 11 inch chevy brake kit for mustang ii front end. I am happy with the fit except for the outer brake pads. I have done brake work for many years and I have never seen pads this loose in a caliper. The inner pads have the anti-rattle clip which fits in the caliper piston....all good there. I cannot seem to find anti-rattle clips for the outer pads. They are the same pads on the 1982-92 camaro. I know they aren't going to fall off the car or anything like that but, it seems to me that as I drive they will bounce back and forth against the rotor, causing unwanted and unneeded wear. I could lightly tack them with my welder but, I've never heard of that being done. And I would think I would not need to go there.
Ideas, suggestions?
Thanks
Willy
