Lower Control Arm

Quick question, is a lower control arm off 82 2x4 c-10 the same as on for a 71 2x4 c-10? Im pretty sure they are all the freaking same, but I cant find any evidence to prove either or. Thanks a bunch!

7yes and no,

it depends,

the bump stop is different 73-up than 71 and 72(the only two CST-era truck disc brake years)

and the shaft is solid on 72 and older -all trucks,

and solid on 73-up all -except 1/2 tons

in which are rubber

it is 4x2 technically

good luck

uhh ok... a lil lost there, the bump stop, does not concern me, as it is being relocated and adjusted any ways, the control arm shaft bushings i assume your talking about, i can just get the right one for the era are right? But the physical arm is the same as it will bolt on and stuff right?
