Lower Control Arms
Have a 1991 GMC SLX Sierra C1500
I have rebuilt complete suspension shocks and bushing etc.
I am having a serious PITA getting the lower control arms back into place.
Am I missing something or is there a trick to doing this.
Are the bushings causing the grief? Dragging as you attempt to get the control arm into the pocket???
I have put a little lube on them and/or the mounting pockets so they slip in easier. White lithium, Vaseline, etc. with a little coaxing from a weighted dead blow hammer.
