Lowering A 66 Longbed Chevy

I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A KIT TO PROVIDE THE LOWEST DROP POSSIBLE WITHOUT CHOPPING UP THE CHASSIS. IS THERE ANY COMBINATION ANY ONE WOULD PREFER? MOST COMPANIES I HAVE SEEN OFFER EVERYTHING SEPERATE FOR THIS MODEL. I,M NOT TO SURE ON SPINDLE/SPRING APPLICATIONS? IF I ORDER 2 1/2 DROP SPINDLES AND 2 1/2 WOULD I GET A 4 INCH DROP OR HAVE I BEEN MISS INFORMED OR HOW ABOUT THE REAR? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT! THIS IS MY FIRST BUILD.

i forget who had it but there is a mustang II kit that bolts in to the 73-87 trucks. Those trucks have clearance troubles with the front crossmember if you get "too low" (like there is such a thing). The original front ends off those trucks bolt into the earlier 60's trucks, so that kit might just work for you too. Of course check with the manufacturer first. Check out "trucking" magazine if i remember right they advertised in there.
