will changing the front spring lower or raise to front of this vehicle. i have this front clip on a 1949 chevy pickup and i replaced the spring and it raised the vehicle about 3 inches. the only thing wrong with the old springs was one of them was broke off about 2 inches from the bottom end. will this hurt anything. the springs looks good other than that.
As long as the springs are installed into the pocket correctly. Did you use the "witness" holes to ensure that the springs are aligned correctly?
Also, you might want to get an alignment check; that much change in ride height guarantees an alignment is needed.
Good luck.
