Question Lowering a GM w-body FWD.

Anybody ever lower a W-body GM ? Specifically an '88 Grand Prix, I just bought one to tinker with but the thing sits up like a 4WD ! I'd like to get it just a little lower than stock without killing the ride and handling. To give you some idea on all the other GP's of this vintage I have seen the bottom of the rocker is about an inch or so below the center of the wheels, mine is a good 2 inches above. Top it off with the fact that someone has put 225/60-16's from a Bonneville on it and it's starting to look like my kid's F-150 4X4. Not a good thing. Thanks.

Found out how. Buy an '89 or newer. Will try to do just that Saturday. For some reason 88's had really stiff springs, GM softened 'em up the following year so they sat at a normal height. Found a nicer '89 GP SE body that needs an engine and trans.

Eibach or Intrax might have a kit for you if you decide to keep the car.
