Lowering my F-150

I wanna lower my 95 Ford F-150.. 5" in the rear (that dont sound right does it ) and 3" in the front. What kit should I use and where can I get it? I know Fords are a little funny with the Twin I-Beam suspension and all.. I just wanna make sure I do it right, dont want my front wheels kicked out at the bottom, I've seen this on a lot of fords.

The rear you can lower a number of traditional and inexpensive ways. The front is the real challenge. To do it right you'll need dropped axles (pricey) or dropped spindles (also pricey). I think Summit has the dropped axles so you can check the prices there.

Wait... a 95 F150 has Ibeams??? I just lowered my buddy's 99 F150 and it was traditional control arms. We put coils in it.

65-96 Twin I-beam.
You can get aftermarket beams for lowering.

Yea new beams is the only way to get it down and keep geometry correct. No one makes drop spindles. The good news is at least for the newer trucks they are cheaper. Beams for my 77 are like $550, I think for newer trucks they are only around $350!

Definitely drop beams.

I think 5" in the rear you might need C notches.
