LS 1 and LS2 dimensions

My project is a 1949 3/4 ton Chevy pickup. Will have MII front and 4 link rear with Ford 9". My goal is to install a 5.7L LS1 or 6.0L LS2 engine either with a 4L80E 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION or a 4L60E transmission. The point is I need to know the trans gear ratios and the proper Ford 9" rear gearing. I intend to grung this truck and build for cruising. Also there apparently are 3 different bodies, corvette-F body and truck. Each have different dimensions concerning the mounting of the accessories. Does any one know these dimensions or which body will fit the engine space of a 49 chevy pickup? Thank you for your answers.
