LS engine dimensions help

Iím boxing in the frame of my 36 Ford Truck and working on the design for the X member. So I need to find some information on engine dimensions.

I plan on using an LS1 style engine.

I have a foam mockup 4L60E Trans and 350 engine, so I know the Trans size but not the LS size.

Q: does anyone know what the block size would be, from Trans mounting surface to the front of the block only not pulleys or pump for the LS.

Then I can allow for the differences between the LS and the 350 to position the Trans in the X member without being too close to the Radiator.

The Trans mount will be temporary until I can get a real LS and Trans.

LS7 Measurement

The LS7 is 20" from Bell Housing flange to the front machined surface of the block.
This measurement is NOT including any accessories or even the crank snout and harmonic balancer, but the machined surface of where the water pump mounts.

I hope this is helpful.
If you need any other measurement, feel free to call me at 214.585.1692.
