LS Engine swap 69 Nova

Hey a HS friend and I are partners on a 69 Nova, we are planning to put an 2003 LS 5.3 Suburban engine and 4L60E trans in it, has anyone on this site done that to 69 Nova?

Never have done it, but I certainly wouldn't be afraid of doing it. I would strip all wiring, sensors, computer and everything electric or electronic out of the suburban and transplant it into the Nova. That way, you'd have everything in one package that was engineered at the factory to work together, complete with being able to troubleshoot the system the way the factory did. I'd also duplicate the fuel and exhaust systems just the way they are stock. Just in case I didn't make myself clear, use everything off the Suburban but the sheet metal.
