LS1 block huggers

I bought a pair of block hugger headers for a 5.3 and they block a couple of the spark plugs. Is this normal or did I buy some bad headers?

they make shorter plugs for this, as well as alternate style of boots.

I just bought a set of headers for an LT1...straight plug...d-port and my searching found headers that specified angle or straight plug....Maybe your using standard 350 huggers....I'm a newb, I may be wrong.
