i've got a ls1 and was wondering what all i would have to do to put it in my 2001 gmc sonoma, it has a 4.3 in it now. ive read some articles but still unsure what all parts i will need and what i would b able to use off the old engine. (ecm, wire harness, radiator, etc.)

cheapest would be to buy a wrecked ls1 camaro/trans am with a t56. Trust me doing a swap with electronics, you will want a donor car.

I have a complete ls1, I was reading that the 4.3 ecm will work but will need to b reprogramed. It's got b fuel injection. It's got to pass emissions and its guns b a daily driver.
