LT-1 Ignition parts

sometime soon i want to replace the distributor cap, rotor, and wires on my '95 Firebird LT-1 . Prices I have checked through Summit,Jeg's, GM Performance parts, all seem pretty expensive for an engine that's been around so long.
Anyone been able to find a source for these items at a decent price ??
Thanks!

I don't have any info on your specific engine.

However, what I don't get through a dealer, I typically get through www.rockauto.com.

They have the best prices, and even ACDelco parts are comparable to what I'd pay for generic at the local Advance Auto.

RockAuto has two catalogs, a Java and an HTML. I prefer the HTML, but to each his own.

Ouch.

Those distributor parts are expensive, even on Rock Auto.

I looked up a '95 Firebird (formula) 5.7.

Distributor cap:

ACDelco D8301: $145.79
(looks like it includes the rotor as a kit)

Standard Motor Products DR473: $137.79
(looks like just the cap?)

Wires:

ACDelco 718G (12096439): $71.89
Bosch 09753: $55.79
Champion 700786: $59.79
Standard Motor Products 7859: $61.79

How do those prices compare to what you've seen so far?

You may want to check this out. It is from MSD, its a little more costly, but should be worth it. Good luck.
