LT1 in a C10

Guys,
I am converting my 1969 C10 to LT1 power. Already have the LT1 and was curious if anyone had experience with this. If so, what can you tell me about it. Where can I get wiring diagrams? the public liabrary? I can't print shbox.com. Any modifications that need to be made.

Thanks,
Daniel

What about fuel delivery. What kinda pressure and delivery do I need from the pump?

Buy a repair book for a car that had the LT1 (any early 90's camaro or Vette) as it will have full wiring diagrams in the back.

You'll need a return line to the tank and a pump that can feed 38-52 PSI of pressure. Fuel pumps off mid 80's ford mustangs with their FI work great. Or if you want to go aftermarket Walbro makes some nice pumps as well.

I take it you have the LT1 as an engine together and not just the LT1 induction. If thats the case then it should be a lot easier.

Modify the fuel delivery, run the wiring (which should be fairly easy as well since all the sensors are already on the engine correct?). You'll probably have to run two power wires, one constant, the other key on. Run the grounds.

I'll be glad to help but so far it looks like your on the right path.

What year is the C10? What engine was in the truck originally?

C10s back to the mid sixties incorporated mounting holes in the chassis for the V-8. You will have to provide a transmission that will match your LT1 if not alread accomplishied.

You will need either an internal tank pump or an external pump. You will need a higher pressure pump.
