success!
I ended up replacing the hub -- i put the original OEM balancer back on (the old one) and lo and behold -- not one bit of wobble... runs true now. I don't know how the hub was bent, but it was. Must have been a very tiny bend... perhaps when I removed the engine from the Camaro last year. Anyways, on to bigger and better things! Still have to fabricate the trans tunnel sheet metal patch and clean up the cab! Maybe a little more sound proofing and new carpet... |
