LT1 headers...fit other heads?

Okay so a quick question, searching hasn't turned up an answer yet so hoping someone can help me out:

What's the difference between the exhaust ports on a TBI 350 head, a vortec 350 head, and an LT1 head?

I ask, because the car I'm trying to have driveable by the end of summer, a '93 Caddie FB, complete with camaro pedals and a 4 on the floor with a hurst t-handle, currently has a 350 TBI, high miles, still runs good but I'm going to want more power, stat.

So my planned engine upgrade is to get a fresh 350 block, fresh bottom end, lower compression & forged pistons (supercharger swap hopefully in the next year), vortec heads (already got em) and who knows what else.

Right now the car has manifolds w/a.i.r. bungs
that's gotta go. I would like to upgrade to headers before getting exhaust bent up so that I don't have to rebuild everything when I go from TBI heads to vortec heads. I'm curious if the LT1 ports/bolt holes are the same as either, as it's far easier to find headers (and a better selection no less) for a 94-96 impala/FWB with an LT1 than with a TBI 350.

Somebody help me....

bolt pattern is identical between the vortec tbi and lt1. I think the lt1 has square exhaust ports if I'm not mistaken but that shouldnt be a problem.

Not a problem, typical headers have port passages in the flanges that are larger than the ports in the head, whether the heads have square, round or "D" ports. The exhaust side bolt pattern of production Gen I including Vortec and Gen II-(LT1/4) Small block Chevy heads is the same. Where you may have issues is that various heads do move the overall height of the port in regard to position from the head deck which can get you into position and clearance problems of headers to chassis components or exhaust pipe location, these, however, tend to be minor and can be easily corrected.
