LT1 into a 64 Belair

Does someone know if I can use the stock harness and computer in this swap? The engine is out of a 95 Cadilac Fleetwood Broughm. It has a 4L60E trans.
Maybe it's not worth messing with and I should go to a Painless harness & computer.
Thanks.

Yes you can, but you will need to modify it and have the computer programed for no theft deterrent. The painless harness is the way to go if you are not good with wire schematics.

We did put a 305 Tunnel Port into a 53 Chevy pick-up using the stock harness. It did take some time to sort out all the codes and weed out all the wires not needed.
It seems this project would be the same.
