LT1 Lifter noise

My sons 1995 LT1 developed a small lifter noise on one side. What is a good additive to get rid of the noise and help.

I used a product called freevalv with great results . There are similar products at any auto parts store . Just tell them what you need .

The best additive is cam and lifters. But if you maintain the engine properly this should almost never happen unless is has a ton of miles on it.

I agree , if the cam is getting a flat lobe. Just from experience I had a '75 Nova SS that I bought brand new that for some unknown reason got sticky lifters at about 15k . I put in a bottle of freevalv and it cleared up and I ran that car for 117k and never had a valve cover off and it still ran great when I sold it in '84 to some kid that raced the heck out of it and finally put it into a tree .
