LT1 T56 Slave Cylinder options
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone out there has some slave cylinder experience with the LT1 T56 trans -- i finally got my clutch to disengage with a 7/8 master (Wilwood) and a 1.25" slave -- however, my clutch system somehow got air back into it again and I'm not sure if it's because of a leak somewhere on the master cylinder (it has a large opening for the remote reservoir fitting attaches to) or due to the placement of the fluid reservoir itself.
I'm thinking of going back to my old 3/4" master and getting a smaller slave, because it does not have a remote fluid resevoir attachment, instead it can accept traditional AN fittings -- i'm looking for something that is 7/8" to preserve my current ratio -- does anyone know of a slave cylinder from a different car that could mate up to my trans? 13/16 will also do...
