Luck of the BullHeim, Oh boy

Well i had a wonderful day today (big time sarcasm)

My arm is burnin off dam hurts. Get this i was goin along on tulare avenue (busy busy main road, 45-50 mph) bout 30 mins ago, i get a red light. All seems normal, then i go to shift down to 1st....WHATS THIS!!!! NuhUH my car says, No way you aint gettin outta gear this time buddy your *** is mine. I was inbetween the left turn lane and the right lane (middle lane) easy target for someone to run me over or smash my elky. Like a madman after taking a butload of dope i jump out lay down try to get my linkage to free itself, nuh uh no way that aint happenin. All this time im there on the ground i feel and hear cars flying by me within inches. So i sayd screw that and tryd to push it forgettin it was still stuck in gear, couldnt push the clutch and push at the same time. After sittin there for a good 3 minutes or so i said screw this im gonna definately get hit or get a cop on me, so i start crankin it over movin couple inches at a time (brainfart, i could have just press the clutch and started it and went from there but i didnt..) then finally it starts boggin yesss it started so i get on it some to get me outta the bog pull it into 76 on the corner and try and figure it out. It was in my mind the whole time the linkage, that was what i was goin after tryin to dislodge it with out any light, now in the parking lot i try again my arms burning up wonder why....hmmm.......

call home tellem i need a pull home, so my dad takes off.
I decide to light my lighter under by the trany and booooooom! nah that was a joke, nothin blew up but i definately seen the culprit that i knew all along but couldnt see before. the shifter arms the little ***** rod thing that goes thru both of them wasnt aligned and was binding up. quick pull on the shifter arm solved that. call back home pop already left...my cars fixed....so i wait there and explain all the bs i just went thru (no i wasnt in trouble, lol)
and that i got it fixed...I drove it home, carpet still ripped out and stuff all over the inside cab :-s and here i am now typing my bullheimer luck story for the night
wound up with some nice war wounds my pipes were hooooot i had been drivin around for atleast 3 hours beforehand, and thank god I did not get my legs or my whole self ran over trying to get it fixed in traffic.

Moral of the story? I guess check your linkage every so often (all parts of the car, not just linkage), things wind up doing weird stuff....

included couple pics of my burn up arm, I hadda do what I hadda do....ouch.
Pics r from a webcam so theyre not too great..

Yes, I believe you have the Bullheimer curse...except someone would have stolen the car if it had been him under it.

Ouch, that sucks.
Good thing nothing happened to the elky.
Sounds about like me sliding around in the rain a week or so ago when my brakes went out.

Hey, I've got a burn scar from my exhaust from a few years back on my right wrist. Just another battle scar!

Oh yeah, good to see your fine too Hey man, just one of those days. Live and learn, take the blows (or burns) and move on. Can only go up from here right?
