sounds fine but i'm huge on comp cams. they make the extreme energy 4x4 just for your truck pick one with your rpm range and go i promise you won't be dissapointed. i've owned three comp cams camshafts all have ran in small chevys and they always run strong to their potential if not higher. good luck either way but i just don't know anything about the voodoo cams yet

The voodoo cams were designed by Herold Brookshire formerly of Ultradyne.
I have used his solid flat tappet and solid roller stuff and am well beyond pleased with the performance

I have a UDHarold Brookshire custom ground solid roller camshaft, and I am also very pleased with it.Harold designed many of the Comp Cams line, then later the Voodoo line. From all that I have read, you cant go wrong with the Voodoo cam.

awsome thanks for the info and the number. I'll give him a call and get his advice. I just dont want to get ths cam choice wrong cause that is the "heart" of the engine.
Power wise do you think that cam would be making strong low rpm torque? o btw the truck has 3.73 gears

Thanks,

Mike
