M-2 Fish Carburetor

My M-2 has a mixture adjustment on the passenger side of the throttle shaft that my M-1 does not have . I think part of it is missing . I think I should plug it past the roll pin. Does anybody know how this should work ? I also need a needle and seat for it .

fish carb

I pressed two .177 cal lead pellets in the end of the throttle shaft . I got a 5/16 male flare fitting threaded one end 3/8 fine bolt thread to fit a Q-jet seat and threaded the other end 1/8 pipe thread . I found how to make this seat adapter on a MOPAR site. When the mixture is adjusted correctly the throttle valve is not all the way open . I am going to add another shim behind the fuel arm to fix this .

Hello:
I just learned about the Fish carb about a month ago, when gas prices went from $3.35gal to $3.95gal...If I remember right this was a high mileage carb?

If you get it running, I am curious as to how many miles per gallon you get...Also, if these carbs are still available and where to get one and adaptor for a SBC intake.
