Post m-22 or siganaw 4 speed?

Finaly putting my 69 cst 396 back to gether,
I have a rear end out of a silverado in my truck right now, and I am totaly confused on what type of tranny to use, or automatic either.
the engine is bored 30 over, has dart heads,
edl rpm 2-0 manifold forged pistons connecting rods, roller cam this engine should run, what trans should I use, the rear end is a 3.73 or would a borg warner hold the power?

any help or ideas would be liked, never built a chevy before..
thanks

your best bet for the buck would be a 400 turbo. All parts would fit and are available at reasonable prices. If you go stick ,go for a wide ratio Muncie or Borg Super T-10, the Saginaw is unsuitable for heavy use.
