m22 rock-crusher
The M22 was available for some later 1965 corvettes i have one have checked all the # with gm. This is a M22 rock-crusher. I need to know what it is worth. It has the angle cut gears.

Could be 100.00 to 800.00. What gears? How many splines 10 or 26? Has it ever been welded on? Are the shifter mount holes good? How tight are the bearings (input output shafts)? Are the gears and sinkros good? Or is it a complete rebuild with new everything? There is alot to take into acount.Check ebay for prices just for an idea?

TURKEY: Darrel,s Transmission Shop ask me 3000.00 for a rebuilt M22. I ended up buying a T-10 from Tex Racing for less than 2000.00. the T-10 is a whole lot easer to get parts, as compared to a true M22. Hope this info helps.

I know you can get one of those "super" m-22's with the flexplate and main case made by autogear for around $2000. check gearzone.net, they make the maincases. I have also seen them offered on e-bay from $1500-1975.
